So this being my last day of Red, it was all about transition. Since I was out for most of the day and into the next day, I transformed to rainbow in public!
The day started out fun, on my way to work some women commented on how good my red dress looked, then they said,”I should wear more red!” Yeah red is a fantastic color, I’m actually going to miss it, well because I have tons of red clothes(Glenn I let Julie borrow that fabulous polyester jump suit for the year, so if you see her in it, it’s just because I won’t be able to wear it for a while!) . .. but alas I have committed to this project, and rainbow is next!
I was commenting to a friend how I’d hoped that wearing one color for a month might give me some perspective about what that color means, or that the color might have put me in some spectacular mood attached to the specific color. Well it didn’t, but it was certainly a very intense and noticeable color, it being the most intense color on the rainbow.
Here’s work, I’m with Victor and AJ, my boys!

I went home to shower and put on some make-up for the New York Burlesque Festival, I arrived to lots of my friends wearing red and this note under my name on the line up!

The reason it says”no reds”, is because my act was very colorful and full of rainbows and the red would wash it out!
Here are some of my favorite red heads Kate Valentine(1st) and Nasty Canasta(2nd). I later heard(from Tigger! and Kate) that red heads are becoming extinct and they are trying to save the red head gene because they think it’s a stronger gene! Insane!

Then I went trolloping through the crowd to get any last minute red photographs!
Jo Boobs(red lips), Vivienne Va Voom(red lips, and Charlie Champlain(er,red eyes?)

Wassabasco Bill and Jonny Porkpie Red Suits and shirts

A Woman in red(I forgot her name!) and Fannie Spankings.

Claire De Lune from New Orleans

DJ Momo Taro and Kate Valentine watching Rose Wood through the window in the floor.

Scotty the Blue Bunny’s last NYC show before he moves to Sweden! Here he is watching Creamy Stevens fabulous cow act!

Here I am with Scotty the Blue Bunny, I’m gonna miss the little rabbit!

Precious Little go-go dancing and a bit of Burgundy Brixx butt!

Darren Mayhem and me! She’s one of my favorite photographers and it’s rare that she lets me take her picture, so this is special because she actually asked me to take a picture of us together!

Darren Mayhem took this picture with my camera, she is a magic photographer I tell you, magic!

This is Tulsa of Belladonna’s Delux from Australia, we had lots of conversations about Merkins (I love merkins!) Here is her red flower!

Me and Mr Exotic World 2007 Charlie Champlain

Wonderful Virginia Valentine from Sweden, she’s just been the best house guest! We were up until 5am chatting about make-up and feathers!

Since this night was halfway in between August and September, I’m going to post the rest of the pictures from tonight tomorrow . . .stay tuned for more scenes from a rainbow!

DJ I love reading your blog every day! It makes me very happy and I almost feel like I’m at NYBF! xox
