RAINBOW NOVEMBER: DAY 93 “Rainbow Suprise”
November 1, 2007
So I started my second month of Rainbow with Karin just like I started my first month when she came to visit me for the New York Burlesque Festival

This month wasn’t as glamorous but, it sure was nice to be visiting! Today I woke up around noon, and it took me three hours to blog and upload photos to the laptop I was borrowing(cute clamshell imac but really SLOW!) After spending three hours staring on the computer I decided that I’d rather explore Stockholm! So I went to this museum near the Slussen subway stop.
In Stockholm EVERYONE STARES! And they stare so much that I was just as inclined to stare right back at them! I was wearing my rainbow jumpsuit, the second outfit that I’ve ever made! Of course I was wearing my florescent orange pants underneath for warmth and they were peeking out in all their florescent splendor!

I was walking around the streets and a woman in her early 70’s, dressed in a wig and a purple over coat; came up to me tapped me on the shoulder, she looked me in the eyes and said something IN SWEDISH! It was so fast, all I could muster up was “Bright eh?!” I wish I could understand Swedish, this is the first time I’ve ever been to a non-English speaking country(well most Swedes speak English too) and I didn’t at least understand the language . . .Up until now I had only been to Mexico and Canada. Anyway, if only I knew what that lady had to say to me???
Around the museum I took some pictures
This was a poodle trash can that kept getting stolen from this children’s playground.

This is a picture of these knitting public art

Also up the hill is the theater I am going to perform at on November 3rd!
Södra Teatern is beautiful and HUGE!

And the daily photo, dark . . .

Then Karin and I watched Frequency on TV and went to bed early, yes folks I’M ON VACATION!
