YELLOW DECEMBER: DAY 141 “YELLOW! BLOND! INVASION!”

Today was the day! Yellow really came through! Yes it was the YELLOW! BLOND! INVASION! I got to Love Muscle, and there was a Ralph Lauren staff party finishing up, so as I started to set up my installation, people kept asking,”When is the show going to start?”,”What are you doing?” etc.
That was a hard question to answer, as installation isn’t like a “show” with a beginning, middle, and end. It’s more of a process. I have to say that this particular installation felt very exclusive, we were in a bright yellow room while the rest of the party was in the dark. People were drawn to the space but only fellow performers wandered in, for a while I let people come in with out yellow on, but then I made them put something yellow on, I did have lots of yellow fabric. I don’t remember who said it but they said that, “yellow is an exclusive color.” Meaning that its hard for everyone to wear, I beg to differ, I think that people THINK it’s hard to wear, but it’s just a matter of the right shade and making a commitment to that color.
So I arrived and lovely Clams Casino was there, in all her blond, yellow splendor!
Precious Little arrived in Black as a brunette and we transformed her into a yellow blond. Well we tried, we got the wrong hair dye, so it was lighter than her natural shade and I didn’t screw it up, but in the end it was just a shade lighter than her natural hair color and not platinum blond as we had hoped, but thank goodness I brought a blond wig! We transformed her!

Then Bambi Arrived! I had brought 3 dozen eggs for her to lay as Cornstar, which she did!
Well not three dozen but some!
When we started I lit some candles for Love, Career Success, Money and Creative Growth. Here is what people saw from the outside!

All in All, it was a wonderful time! I loved being there with everyone. Glenn is a great party host, and he treated me so kindly, even though he’s my friend he was also so professional and committed to the party. That was really nice to feel supported in a party atmosphere!
