RAINBOW JANUARY: DAY 167 “Rainbow on the town!”
January 13, 2008
I met my new friend Shelly Watson for Brunch and shopping, again a wonderfully inspiring person! We ate delicious eggs Benedict with a side of what Shelly calls, “Home Latkes” because they were labeled as home fries on the menu but they looked a little more like tiny Latkes!

Of course after brunch we went shopping at Rainbow, one of my favorite proprietors of “fast food couture” as my co-worker Bryn calls it. I was in the market for green stuff, but also ended up getting a purple sweat suit, which I will need in June! Also some green shoes that Shelly is modeling here!

A delightful time was had by all! Then I had to rush home to prep for rehearsals with the Animal Crackers and to perform with the Schlep Sisters at Sweet and Nasty. I was taking the F to the J and for some reason the F stopped one stop before my transfer so I decided to walk the 5 blocks to the next station to transfer, and on my way stop by Demask to say hello to Glenn Marla, and who did I see walking out? Weirdee Girl was walking out the door from her “hello” to Glenn, so I told her to wait for me to say hello so we could ride the train together, and of course I got this colorful, blurry shot!

And while we were loading on the train, who do we see? Broadway Brassy! And she was wearing rainbow shoes so we did this funny photo shoot on the train!

I then went to rehearse with the Animal Crackers, we worked it out! Got a ton done, Saturday is going to be a BLAST! Yes it’s New York Vs London at Studio B!
It was raining a ton, but fortunately I had my big gay (rainbow) umbrella, that fits at least three people underneath. Pinkie and I walked to the train. I stopped to get a giro at a halal stand by Riffifi and this Egyptian man asked,”You married” I said, “Yes.” with my naked un ringed hands in plain sight, but still he went on to say.” I need sleep with girl.” I said really hungry with the food still in his hand, “You will!” and he said,” I need sleep with girl!” finally I was fed up, and said, “give me my food!” That wasn’t the experience I was desiring along with my Giro! Man some people need to get laid! So Sweet and Nasty was wonderful I picked up a cake for Minnie Tonka because it’s her birthday on Tuesday, we did our bride act and party in my pants, we certainly had fun, and it was a nice contrast to Pookie and Jezebels gore acts!
