PURPLE JUNE:DAY 335 “Purple at the Shopping mall”
June 27, 2008
I rode in today, and I rode through an intersection and a lady said,”don’t hit me purple lady.” It’s funny no one really comments on my purple clothes, most people say I look good in purple, but then again I got that comment for most of the colors. As I was riding off the bridge a car sped up then slowed down extremely close to me I said,”What are you doing?!” He said,”Chill out pinkie I was just letting you pass!” Pinkie, huh, I wasn’t really wearing pink except for my magenta Helmut, but I thought that was funny that he was trying to let me me pass!
Today I went to do my receiving shift for a few hours and afterwards I went with Aimee to work at the Babeland booth at the Shecky’s shopping girls night out. Lots of ladies were wearing purple and I even met a lady with purple hi-lights and decked out in all purple. When I told her I liked her purple her friend said, “her nick name is Violet!”
Aimee was even wearing purple! Here she is at our booth.

Oh I almost forgot yesterday I saw a cat attack a pigeon near where the Puerto Rican guys have their club house on Montrose and Lorimer. This little cat had a whole pigeon in his mouth!!
And while I was waiting to go on the Diana Cage show I wrote this, while sitting at the fountain across the street from the radio station.
A month ago as I rode by the park from where they throw the water balloons at me, it’s dark, but I can see kids dancing. Today I got off work early and saw kids dancing outside in front of the community center by the projects on Humboldt street. If there is ONE THING I love it’s dancing in the streets. Tonight on my way here at the Delancey/Essex street as I was waiting for the F train, I saw these guys one was playing the drum and one was, you guessed it, dancing! The smile on his face was priceless just made me happy to see him dancing.
