RAINBOW JULY: DAY 351 “Darlinda es un Arcoiris “

July, 13, 2008

Yep, the first thing I heard today when I left the house, well half way to rehearsals, was Arcoiris, yeah that’s Spanish for Rainbow, and how nice it was to hear someone yell that!

It was a lovely day, woke up and started making pasties, then got distracted with online dating, yeah it’s been my latest distraction, that takes up a ton of time! I had a cup of coffee and cleaned up most of my room(amazing what a stimulant will do in the right quantities!) I finally unpacked from Fire Island and found these moldy dance shoes, kinda felt like I was cultivating some mini Cherry Grove forest on the soles of my shoes!

Then I rode to Soho where I rehearsed with the Animal Crackers, but on the way I passed what appeared to be a block party, it even had a pony, the kids seemed so happy and when I rode through everyone looked, I thought,” how fun would it be to hop off my bike and do some funny dancing for these kids? They would love it!” Then I go to thinking about a couple of profiles I’ve seen online that said,”they say you dress like the kind of job you want.” So should I start thinking about joining the circus? Not a bad idea, I already get paid for being funny! This is what I wore today

Life is good! Well at rehearsals were Lea’s parents who rode the length of the Erie canal, how wonderful is that!! I do love riding my bike, it’s so good for you! And then after dinner, someone yelled,”Hey Rainbow Bright” and I smiled!

One week ago today I was at a BBQ and I learned how to say rainbow in French, “un arc-en-ciel.” And low and behold our lovely host Miriam sent me some pictures from the BBQ last week! Pictured below, Amy, Pinkie, George, and me.
